Southern Delaware Lawn

About Southern Delaware Lawn

Some mornings the fog rolls in off the Great Marsh and settles in the low ground east of Milton until the sun finally burns it away. Southern Delaware Lawn works this stretch of Sussex County with mowing, trimming, edging, mulching and seasonal cleanups, on lawns that live with salt wind and sandy soil year round. Winter is only a short hush here — geese wheeling out over Prime Hook, turf gone dormant and tan — and then the ground warms early and it all begins again. A coastal growing season runs long at both ends, which means the work is steady rather than seasonal. A lawn that stands up to all that has had eyes on it every week, not just in June.
