Hertzog Lawn Mowing Service

About Hertzog Lawn Mowing Service

The first cut of the year around Dagsboro and Millsboro is a small ceremony — a dry morning in April, dew burning off, and that green smell nobody ever quite gets tired of. Hertzog Lawn Mowing Service opens the season on those mornings and keeps the same yards until the grass finally quits in the fall. The work is straightforward and it is done properly: even passes, tidy trimming along the foundation and fence, edges recut so the driveway has a line again. Sussex ground dries fast and drains fast, so timing the visit to the week's rain matters more here than most places, and that is simply part of the job. A cut lawn on a spring afternoon is one of the more cheerful things a street can offer.
