About Complete Lawn Care

Millsboro took its name from mills, and the pond above the dam still lets go of its water with a sound like steady, far-off applause. Complete Lawn Care keeps the yards that ring that pond and the streets that climb away from it, where the ground turns sandy a spade's depth down and turf has to be coaxed rather than commanded. A cut here is really a conversation with the week's weather: seven days of rain and everything leaps; a dry stretch and you raise the deck, take less, and let the blades keep their color. The slow part is the trimming — around fence posts, mailbox stones, the knuckled roots of old shade trees — and the slow part is what shows from the sidewalk. When the gate on the trailer swings shut, a yard should look tended, not merely finished.
