About A Personalized Landscape
Fog sits on Noxontown Pond well past sunrise some mornings, and it burns off across the fields west of it in long slow sheets. A Personalized Landscape works in that light, treating each yard around Middletown as its own small piece of ground rather than one more stop on a list. Mowing and trimming set the frame; the beds, the shrubs and the planted corners are where a place starts to sound like the people who live in it. Edges get cut to follow the walk instead of fighting it, and the mulch line curves the way the yard actually wants to curve. Come evening, when the light goes gold over the pond road, a finished lawn out here reads like something composed on purpose.
