About Holliday Lawn & Landscape

November light in Middletown comes in low and thin by four o'clock, and the old farm lanes off Bunker Hill Road fill up with leaves faster than anyone can keep up with. Holliday Lawn & Landscape spends that season clearing them — off the lawns, out of the beds, away from the fence corners — and putting the last cut on grass that will hold its color for weeks yet. Through the warm months it is mowing, trimming and edging, with the beds kept shaped so the planting lines stay legible all year. There is a plain pride in a property that looks cared for when everything around it is going bare. Rake marks in the mulch, a swept walk, one straight edge along the drive: that is a yard someone looked after.
