About Empressive Landscapes

Every neighborhood has one lot that has been waiting years for somebody to really see it. Landscaping is that seeing — beds redrawn, shrubs set where they will still fit at full size, mulch laid dark so the color of the plantings jumps forward, the lawn mowed and edged to hold the whole thing in frame. A growing season gives a planting plan plenty of sun to work with, and the right flowering shrubs can carry a front yard through much of the year. Ongoing trimming and cleanups are what keep the plan from drifting back into a tangle. The best moment is the walk out to the curb afterward, turning around, and finding a different house standing there.
