C & D Lawncare

About C & D Lawncare

North of town the C&D Canal cuts a straight blue line across the state, and from the fields near Summit Bridge you can watch a ship slide by above the treetops. C & D Lawncare works those miles between the canal and Middletown proper, mowing, trimming and edging yards that catch the wind coming off the water. Spring arrives fast here — one warm week and the whole flat country goes green at once — and the mowers start early to keep ahead of it. The reward is small and specific: a hard edge along a walkway, a strip of turf running true from the porch to the street, clippings off the pavement before the truck pulls away. Under that wide canal sky, a tidy lawn stands out farther than you would think.
