Marbo

About Marbo

By late March the ground around Lower Christiana lets go of winter all at once: Muddy Run runs high, the shoulders soften, and green shows in the shady low spots before it shows anywhere else. Marbo starts the year there, clearing the litter winter left on the lawns, then settling into a mowing rhythm that holds until the leaves come down. Trimming takes the fence corners and the ground around trees, while edging returns a firm boundary to the walk and the beds. Cutting a lawn at the right height through a hot Delaware summer is half the job; the other half is arriving on the day you said you would. The yards hold their shape from the first cleanup to the last pass of November.
