About Virginia Green Lawn Care

Late in the day Lewes turns gold: the Great Marsh goes copper at its edges, the loblolly pines throw long shadows toward Pilottown Road, and the light lies flat and generous over every front lawn in town. Virginia Green Lawn Care works in that light — mowing lines laid down straight, beds edged back into shape, a yard brought around after a summer of sun and steady wind off Cape Henlopen. Sandy ground this close to the bay asks for patience; it drinks water fast and gives grass back slowly, so the work is careful cutting height, measured feeding, and the sort of attention that shows two weeks later rather than the same afternoon. Walking a finished property at dusk is a plain pleasure — leaves off the path, borders clean, nothing left in the drive but the smell of fresh grass. It is everyday work in a town that has always watched the sky, and it makes a street look tended all the way from the corner.
