Jobe's

About Jobe's

On the bay side the grass grows with sand mixed into it and takes the wind straight off the water. Jobe's mows, trims and edges the Lewes Beach yards and the ones just across the canal, working around the thin patches where sand keeps turf from filling in. Feeding and weed control run through the season to hold color where salt air tries to bleach it out. March cleanups clear the winter wrack; November handles the leaves. On a July evening those lawns come out cut and quiet, and you can hear the ferry horn from most of them.
