About Emerald Lawn & Landscaping

There is a green that only shows up here after a May rain, when everything from the ponds to the roadside ditches brightens at once. Emerald Lawn & Landscaping chases it — cutting, trimming, edging and feeding — through Lewes and the streets that run out toward Red Mill Pond. Weed control keeps crabgrass out of the sandy patches where it likes to get started. Cleanups clear the deadfall in early spring and the leaf mat in late autumn, so the color has room to come through. A lawn mowed during a warm wet week smells like the best part of the year, and it looks it too.
