About C&C Local Landscape

Southeast of town the bald cypress at Trap Pond turn rust in October, and the color works its way back up the roads into Laurel's yards. C&C Local Landscape meets that turn with rakes and blowers, clearing leaves off grass that still wants a cut or two before dormancy. Through the growing months it is mowing, edging, trimming and the steady work of fertilization and weed control; in fall it is cleanup, hauling and putting beds down for the cold. Sweetgum, maple and loblolly each drop on their own schedule here, so the job arrives in waves rather than one long afternoon. Raked bare and cut short, a Laurel lawn goes into winter looking looked-after, and that is the whole idea.
