About 302 Yardworks LLC.

Three-oh-two is the whole state's number, and in Laurel it means the flat sweep of Sussex farmland where Route 13 runs south toward the Maryland line. 302 Yardworks LLC works those yards in the long light of a Delmarva evening, when the corn across the road goes gold and the mowers finally cool off. Grass here grows in sand that drains fast and greens hard after rain, so mowing, trimming and edging get kept on a rhythm the season sets rather than the calendar. Fertilization and weed control hold the color through the middle of summer; seasonal cleanups clear whatever the wind carries in off the field rows. The reward is the last look back from the truck seat — a lawn shorn even, borders cut true, one house on the road that reads finished.
