About Mc Donald Lawn & Landscp Contractor

Hockessin sits up in the rolling piedmont where Red Clay Creek cuts down through limestone hills toward Yorklyn, and the lawns follow that terrain — sloped, stone-walled, shaded in patches by old hardwoods. Mc Donald Lawn & Landscp Contractor mows, edges and trims across that uneven ground, where holding a straight line takes more thought than it ever does on flat land. Spring comes in here under dogwood and redbud along the creek roads, and the grass answers early and keeps at it. Regular visits, tight borders, cleanup as the season calls for it — that is the shape of the work. On a slope, a well-cut lawn reads like a green field falling away from the house, and that is worth the extra passes.
