About Long Neck Landscaping

There is no hill in Harrington to break the wind, so it comes across the fields unimpeded and finds every open yard in town. Long Neck Landscaping works right in it — mowing, edging and trimming with the clippings blowing sideways and the hedgerows leaning off the road. Flat land is honest land for lawn work: nothing hides a missed pass, and a straight line is genuinely straight. The routine is unglamorous, and that is exactly the point, visits kept regular so the grass never gets out ahead. Come evening the wind usually lays down, and the yards along the road sit calm and level in the last of the light.
