About Price’s Landscaping and Hardscaping

There is an evening in October, right after the beans come off around Greenwood, when the air turns cool enough that a patio out back suddenly makes sense again. Price's Landscaping and Hardscaping builds toward that evening — paver patios and walkways set on properly compacted base, retaining walls that hold a grade instead of leaning into it, fire pit areas laid out where people will actually sit. Sussex sand drains fast, which is a gift when it is prepared right and a headache when it is not, so the layers under the stone get as much attention as the stone itself. Around the finished work the lawn is kept mowed, trimmed and edged so the hardscape has a clean green frame. Stone set level stays level, and that is the whole point.
