Blue Hen Lawn Care

About Blue Hen Lawn Care

Late afternoon on Pulaski Highway, the traffic thins and the light goes long and gold across the yards set back from Route 40. That is the hour Blue Hen Lawn Care likes best in Glasgow: cutting while the heat lets go, the mower throwing a cool green smell into the air. The work is a steady rhythm — mow, trim, edge, clear the hard surfaces — repeated week after week so a lawn never has to be rescued, only kept. Fertilizing and weed control run underneath that rhythm, feeding turf that has to hold up to Delaware humidity and July sun. There is a particular satisfaction in pulling away from a property at dusk and seeing the stripes still catching the last of the light.
