Executive Lawns

About Executive Lawns

East of Georgetown the land flattens out toward the airstrip, and small planes drop in over a horizon with almost nothing in the way. Executive Lawns works in that kind of open light, where a stripe in the grass shows from a long way off and a ragged edge shows from farther. Mowing patterns are alternated so the turf stands instead of lying over; trimmers follow the fence lines and mailbox posts; blowers take every last blade off the concrete. Mulch renewal, hedge trimming and seasonal cleanups fill out the rest of the calendar. Flat country is honest — it shows exactly how carefully a lawn was cut.
