About Jonny Nichols Landscape Maintenance, Inc.

Dover keeps its oldest ground right in the middle of itself — The Green, a rectangle of grass ringed by brick and old shutters, where the state has been arguing and celebrating for a very long time. Jonny Nichols Landscape Maintenance, Inc. works the lawns that spread outward from that center, the deep front yards on the streets off State and the tidy rectangles tucked behind them. Morning here comes flat and generous; there are no hills in Kent County to hold the sun back, so the light lands all at once on wet grass and the day begins. Mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and beds, and the steady upkeep that keeps a property looking cared for week after week — that is the work, and the reward is the moment the engine cuts and a straight line stands where a shaggy one used to be. Ground this level shows every pass you make, which is exactly why the passes are worth making well.
