Dover Tree Service

About Dover Tree Service

There is an hour most days in Dover when something enormous lifts off the air base and every crown in town shakes a little on its own. Dover Tree Service works underneath all of that: the willow oaks around The Green, the silver maples on the streets that run down toward Silver Lake, the pines in the yards out by the St. Jones. Pruning is the patient half of it, reading a tree in leaf-off light, taking the crossing limb and leaving the one that will carry the canopy for the next while. Trimming keeps sight lines open at driveway ends and limbs off gutters where they gather trouble. When a line of thunderstorms crosses the peninsula in July, storm damage cleanup means saws going before breakfast and a driveway clear by the time somebody has to leave for work. Removals are lowered out quietly, one limb at a time, with the lawn swept behind them.
