Cooper Yard Services

About Cooper Yard Services

By late October the maples and sweetgums along the older Dover streets let go all at once, and a lawn that was tidy on Friday is buried by Sunday. Cooper Yard Services shows up for that stretch — the leaf hauling, the last cuts of the year taken low, the edges recut so the yard has a shape to carry into winter. There is a particular pleasure in the moment the blower stops and the turf comes back into view, striped and bare and ready. Autumn here is long and mild and then suddenly not, so the work runs right up against the first hard frost. Cooper keeps after the yards of Dover, Rodney Village, Camden, Wyoming and Magnolia until the trees have nothing left to give.
