About The Cut Above Lawn Care LLC.

Noon in July, the heat shimmers off Route 13 north of Delmar and the only shade for a block is one old loblolly leaning over a driveway. The Cut Above Lawn Care LLC. works straight through the middle of those days — mowing in alternating passes, edging drives and walkways, string trimming the corners, then blowing every last clipping off the pavement. Summer here is one long humid run in which grass grows faster than anyone means to keep up with, and a steady weekly route is the whole answer to it. The pleasure of the job is the look back down a finished lawn: stripes running clean to the road, edges cut like a line drawn with a ruler. Then seven days pass and it all begins again.
