About The Cutting Edge of Delaware Inc.

Fog comes off the Delaware River early in Delaware City and sits in the streets until the sun burns down Clinton Street to the water. Out past Battery Park a freighter slides toward the canal mouth, and Pea Patch Island surfaces out of the haze as though it had only just arrived overnight. The Cutting Edge of Delaware Inc. mows and maintains lawns in that river town — cutting, edging along brick walks and canal-side fences, trimming close where a mower can't reach, and clearing the clippings before leaving a property. River-town grass grows fast in all that damp, so the calendar matters as much as the machine. A finished yard here has an edge you can read from the sidewalk and nothing at all left behind on the pavement.
