Morgan's Lawn & Landscape

About Morgan's Lawn & Landscape

There is a morning in late November when Shellpot Creek runs loud under bare branches and every lawn in Talleyville wears a rime that burns off by nine. Morgan's Lawn & Landscape is out in it, finishing the leaf work — the last haul from the back corners, the beds cut down, the turf cleared so it can breathe under whatever the winter sends. The rest of the year runs the other direction: mowing on a set schedule, edges kept sharp along the walks, mulch refreshed, feeding and weed control timed to the way grass actually behaves between the pike and the creek. Properties on this side of Wilmington were laid out with room for lawn, and lawn repays attention. Every visit ends the same way — walks cleared, gate latched, nothing left to do but stand and look at it.
