About POPEL Landscaping and Design, LLC

The finest hour for this trade is the one after supper in June, when the light goes long and a well-set walkway begins to glow from its own fixtures. POPEL Landscaping and Design, LLC designs and builds for that hour — landscape lighting, steps and walkways, veneer stone, paver driveways, cobstone edging, patios and retaining walls, front entry and patio displays meant to be read from the street. Underneath it all they run drainage systems and excavation, so a Connecticut lot sheds what the weather off the Sound keeps sending. Planting and trans-planting fill the frame in, with deciduous and evergreen screening for privacy and lawn renovation or full installation where the turf has quit. Then the maintenance year takes over: mowing, de-thatching, seeding, mulching, edging, pruning, spring and fall cleanups — and snow plowing once the first storm finds Bridgeport.
