About Letts Tree Service LLC

Willimantic sits where the water falls fastest, and the mills were built to use it; today the river runs past brick walls and under the bridge with the frogs on their thread spools, while Windham Center keeps its green a few miles east. Letts Tree Service LLC works the city blocks and the farm roads out toward the Natchaug alike — removals where a maple has outlasted the sidewalk it cracked, trimming where hardwoods lean over a barn or a back porch. Winter is honest here: dark by four, ground hard, every flaw in a crown lit against a gray sky. Pruning done then is clean work — dead limbs out, weight taken off the roof side, a young tree given one leader to follow. When ice comes through the valley and takes half a canopy with it, clearing the aftermath is a straightforward week, and the streets look like themselves again.
