About Growing Solutions

Ambler Farm's fields green up a good week before anybody's lawn does, and that is the signal the season has started in Wilton. Growing Solutions follows it — the spring cleanup first, then mowing on a regular turn, trimming and edging so a lawn has a shape and not merely a size. Soil under these old oaks makes for grass that grows unevenly, and the mowing plan has to account for the shady half of the yard. Come November the work runs the other direction, leaves lifted off the turf before the rain packs them into a mat. The best compliment this kind of work gets is that nobody notices it: the lawn simply looks right, week after week.
