About CT Tree Services

Weston has almost no downtown and a great deal of forest — oak and ledge, stone walls running off into the trees, the Saugatuck cutting south, Devil's Den holding thousands of acres of it still wild. CT Tree Services works the long wooded driveways that come with country like that: a removal three hundred feet from the road, a big oak brought down in a space measured in feet, brush chipped and carried out rather than dragged across a lawn. Trimming keeps those drives passable and lifts the low branches off a roof that sits under full canopy. Pruning is what keeps a single specimen tree standing proudly at the front of a house — dead wood cleared, a heavy lateral reduced, a fork addressed before it opens. October wind here brings whole tops down, and putting a place back together after that is plain, satisfying work: the long drive becomes a way in again.
