The wind at Bradley Point never really lets up, and by October it is carrying half the town's leaves inland to pile against the fences. H&E Landscape Service works that stretch of the calendar hard, hauling leaves, cutting beds back, taking the final mows low and clean. Come April the same crew is out on spring cleanups and starting the weekly cutting that runs straight through summer, with edging, trimming and mulch as they are needed. Seed goes into the bare patches once the nights turn cool enough to hold it. A West Haven yard is a small stage, and the aim is that it looks composed from the sidewalk any week you pass.
