About E & D Landscaping LLC

A nor'easter tracking up the Sound hits West Haven wet and sideways, and the snow it leaves turns to a gray ledge along the curb by morning. E & D Landscaping LLC plows through the night for it, opening driveways, clearing walks down to the pavement, working salt into the steps and the slope of the apron. The shore streets drift differently than the ones up behind Campbell Avenue, so the route bends with whatever the wind is doing. There is a plain pleasure in coming back at first light to a block where every driveway is black and open. That is the entire job: make the morning ordinary again.
