About Okie's Landscaping

At four in the morning in January the Farmington valley is a blue-black bowl beneath the Talcott ridge, and the only sound on the road is a plow blade finding pavement. Okie's Landscaping works the greater Hartford area at both ends of the year: winter plowing and snow and ice removal that has a driveway open before anyone upstairs is awake, and weekly property maintenance once the ground softens again. Mowing keeps the summer honest, spring and fall cleanups take a yard from bare to green and back, and mulch goes down dark against the beds. There is brush to pull out, weeding to do, flowers and trees to plant, and grass seed and fertilizer to put down where the lawn has given up. The work repeats and repeats, out through West Hartford, Simsbury, Farmington and Avon, and the quiet reward is that nobody it's done for ever has to think about it.
