About B&M Tree Service, LLC

Elizabeth Park turns one corner of West Hartford into a place people drive across town for, and the streets running south from Prospect Avenue carry the same feeling — deep lots, old maples, sidewalks buried in leaves by the third week of October. B&M Tree Service, LLC works those neighborhoods, where trees went in close to the houses long before anyone imagined how large they would get. Removals happen in tight quarters, lowered piece by piece between a garage and a hedge, the lawn left unmarked. The steadier work is trimming and pruning: crown cleaning, clearance off slate and gutter, a long limb reduced so the tree keeps its shape and sheds its risk. When a wet autumn storm comes through and half a maple ends up across the driveway, the cleanup is done the same measured way, right down to the rake marks.
