About Birch Hill Landscape & Design, LLC

After a February storm passes over West Hartford the sky clears hard and cold, and the moon on new snow makes the long driveways off Steele Road bright enough to work without a headlamp. Birch Hill Landscape & Design, LLC knows those hillside streets by their grades and their turns — where a plow has to back and fill, where the drift always builds against the same stone wall, where the last twenty feet run downhill toward a garage door and demand a lighter touch. Snow work up on this side of town is as much about reading terrain as about horsepower. The crew clears the run, opens the walk to the front step, and treats the slope so the morning trip to the car is an ordinary one. It is a quiet kind of pride: to hand somebody back their own driveway before they've had coffee.
