About Mascia's Lawn Care llc.

Waterbury is a city of hills, its neighborhoods stacked above the Naugatuck River where the brass mills once ran around the clock and earned it the name Brass City. On a summer afternoon a thunderstorm can roll down the valley, hammer the triple-deckers and steep front lawns for twenty minutes, then move off and leave everything glistening. Mascia's Lawn Care llc. comes in behind the weather, mowing grass that seems to have grown an inch overnight, edging the walks that climb from sidewalk to porch, and running a trimmer along the chain-link and retaining walls. Hillside lawns are tricky ground — slopes that resist a mower, corners that hide from it — and getting them even and sharp is a point of pride. When evening light slants across the cross on Pine Hill, the yards below lie cut clean and glowing.
