About JSM Landscaping and Lawn Care

As the last hard frost loosens its grip on the Naugatuck Valley and the hills above Waterbury go from gray to that first hesitant green, the mowers wake up for another year. JSM Landscaping and Lawn Care tends the lawns that climb the city's steep brass-town streets, coaxing them back to order one pass at a time. There is a plain satisfaction in it — the trimmed line where grass meets sidewalk, the even nap of a yard cut low and clean under the long valley light. Through the growing months the crew keeps that rhythm going, so a Waterbury lawn holds its shape from the wet green of spring straight into the amber slant of fall.
