Snow finds Waterbury's hills first, and by three in the morning Bunker Hill is white and silent while the trucks are already out in it. A & R Lawn Care & Snow Plow runs that shift — driveways opened before the alarm clocks go off, walks cleared, the apron pushed back so the first car of the day fights nothing. In the green months the same trucks handle the mowing: weekly cuts, trimming, edging, and a clearing once the ground thaws and again once the leaves are down, from the Mad River flats up to the ridge streets. Two seasons, one standard — leave the property usable. There is real pride in a bare driveway at dawn and a straight-cut lawn in June.
