About L G Landscaping Services

The Shepaug runs fast and cold under Steep Rock, and the whole town of Washington seems arranged around that sound — the Depot down in its hollow, the green up on the hill, hemlocks holding shade over the trails. L G Landscaping Services keeps the lawns in that country cut clean: mowing week by week, trimming close to stone and post, edging drives and walkways, clearing at the opening of the season and again at its close. Grass here grows in river-bottom soil down low and thin ground up top, so each yard gets read for what it actually is. The aim is a lawn that sits easily among all that rough beauty instead of fighting it. In Washington and the towns around it, that is the work.
