Dalys Lawn Care

About Dalys Lawn Care

Wallingford wakes along the Quinnipiac, mist still lying in the low ground where the linear trail follows the water. Dalys Lawn Care is out early on those mornings, mower cool in the trailer, dew loading the first pass heavy and green. The work is straightforward and it is meant to show: a lawn cut clean, edges run true, clippings gathered rather than scattered. By the time the river fog burns off, a yard that looked shaggy at seven o'clock reads as cared-for. That is the whole ambition — an ordinary Wallingford street looking a little better than it did yesterday.
