TG's Landscaping Co

About TG's Landscaping Co

By mid-October the Housatonic near Bond's Dock runs gold in the late afternoon, the oyster boats come back in, and Stratford's lawns get their last few cuts of the year. TG's Landscaping Co works that tail end hard — mowing until the growth finally quits, then cleanups that clear the leaf drift off the turf before the ground locks up. Once it does, the trucks change over to plowing driveways and clearing walkways after each storm that pushes up the river valley. Spring brings the whole thing back the other way, with edging and trimming resetting the lines a winter's worth of weather has softened. Full circle, every year, on the same familiar streets.
