The old rail bed along the Pequonnock River runs the whole length of Trumbull, and in September the valley fills with that low gold light that makes even an ordinary front yard look like something. Cutting Edge Landscape & Lawncare spends those weeks mowing, trimming and raking through the neighborhoods on either side of the water. Then the cold arrives, the trail goes white, and the trucks change over to plowing driveways and opening walkways before the morning commute. Two kinds of work, one town, the same measure applied to both. Nothing counts as finished until the edges are crisp and the pavement is bare.
