About Special's Excavating LLC

North and east of the city the driveways grow long and turn to gravel, curling toward New Hartford and Barkhamsted through the trees. Special's Excavating LLC clears them all winter — plowing, opening lots, cutting walks down to the surface, sanding where a hill and a sheet of ice have made plans together. February is the test month, when the banks are already high and each new storm has less room to go. Getting there early, before anyone needs to leave, is most of the job. Snow removal for Torrington, Winsted, New Hartford, Barkhamsted and Harwinton.
