Donohue Lawn Care

About Donohue Lawn Care

Thompson Hill wakes early, the white steeple catching light before the rest of the town does. Donohue Lawn Care works the ridge roads and the flats below them, mowing and trimming through the green months, then turning to plows and shoveled walks once the ground goes hard. Summer here means long afternoons and grass that jumps after a thunderstorm rolls up from the Putnam side. Winter means being out on Route 193 ahead of the school buses, opening driveways so the day can start on time. The work is simple to name and satisfying to look at: a lawn cut clean to its borders, a driveway swept down to pavement.
