The Scantic cuts across Enfield with banks that shift when the water runs hard, and half of good property work here is deciding where the runoff will go. Remington Construction reads a site that way first — erosion control, land management, light excavation, a slope worked until it drains away from the things that matter. Then the built work goes in: hardscaping and landscape construction, and lawn installation across the raw ground once the shaping is finished. Come December the same equipment is out before dawn on snow removal, opening drives while the sky over the valley is still the color of slate. It is heavy, obliging work, and what it leaves behind outlasts the weather that tested it.
