Stratton Fertilization & Lawn Care

About Stratton Fertilization & Lawn Care

Coastal Stratford soil runs sandy and thin, and by May it is asking for something back. Stratton Fertilization & Lawn Care answers with feeding timed to the growing season, plus the ordinary weekly attention that makes it count — mowing at a height that shades the roots, trimming along the edges, cutting the border back where grass has crept over concrete. Cleanups open and close the year: the spring clearing that lets air down to the crowns, the fall leaf work that keeps turf from suffocating under a wet mat. Mulch goes on the beds once the ground warms. Fed properly, a lawn this close to the Sound comes in thick enough to argue with the salt air.
