About SP Roofing LLC

Down at the Devon end of Stratford, where the Washington Bridge carries Route 1 over the Housatonic, a February nor'easter arrives sideways and leaves a foot of it packed against every garage door in the neighborhood. SP Roofing LLC works the mornings after — plowing driveways open, clearing walks and steps down to solid footing, cutting back the ridge the town plow leaves across the apron. The satisfaction is immediate and unmistakable: a property that was impassable at six is usable by seven, and somebody's day starts on time. Storm work is unsociable hours and cold hands, and it's also one of the few jobs where the result is visible the second it's finished. When the Sound sends weather up the river, that's the call to answer.
