About M&M Services LLC

Storms come up the Housatonic and hit Stratford sideways, and by two in the morning the grade on Academy Hill is exactly as slick as you would expect. M&M Services LLC is out in it: plow down on the driveways, shovels on front walks and steps, salt worked into the places where a storm that began as rain has finished as ice. The route runs through the night and then runs again, because the second pass is what keeps the first one from being pointless. Wind off the Sound rebuilds a drift against a garage door with real enthusiasm, so that drift gets taken down twice. The measure of all of it is a driveway open before the first car needs to leave.
