GM LAWN CARE

About GM LAWN CARE

Up on Putney, near the old buildings and open lawns at Boothe Memorial Park, Stratford tilts and the yards go with it — terraced fronts, sloped side lawns, a mower's ongoing argument with gravity. GM LAWN CARE takes those grades as a matter of course: the cut kept level across the pitch, trimming on banks where wheels will not hold, edging where a slope wants to spill soil onto the sidewalk. The season opens with a cleanup and closes with leaf work under maples that have been dropping on those lawns a long while. Mulch goes down in spring, hedges get trimmed back in summer. Hill work takes longer, and it shows when it has been done properly.
