About Dirtworx Landscaping & Lawncare

March along Ferry Boulevard is the Housatonic at its least polite — brown tide, gulls arguing, mud in every low spot between the river and the road. Dirtworx Landscaping & Lawncare knows that stretch of Stratford in both of its tempers: the winter one, when plows open driveways and clear the walks before anybody has to guess where the pavement ended, and the growing one, when mowing settles into a rhythm that runs from the first flush of April to the last long evening of September. Trimming and edging keep the shape of a property legible even when the river fog sits low over the flats. Cleanups bookend the year, hauling off what winter tore loose and what autumn dropped. It is river-town work — wet, seasonal, and better for being done on time.
