Brother Tree & Lawn Service

About Brother Tree & Lawn Service

Stratford keeps a forest on its northern shoulder, and the yards that back up to the Roosevelt tree line live in a light all their own — dappled at noon, gone cool by four. Brother Tree & Lawn Service mows those lawns on the town's wooded side, running lines that stay straight right up to where the leaf litter starts and the woods take over. Late August out here smells like warm grass and cut clover, and a lawn that gets its weekly pass carries that green well into September. Trimming and edging finish what the mower begins, and a seasonal cleanup lifts the fallen year back off the turf before it can mat down. Plain outdoor work, done for the plain reward of a yard that reads well from the road.
