North of Route 1 the land climbs into low hills where vines and hayfields share the ridgelines and Stonington stops feeling like a coast town. PSA Lawn Care runs its route up through there — mowing on a set rotation, string trimming fence lines and foundations, edging drives and walks, gathering up whatever the cut leaves behind. Late May is the busy stretch, when everything grows faster than anyone expects and one skipped week shows plainly. Nothing complicated about it: the same route, the same week, until a lawn simply looks easy. Stonington, North Stonington, Mystic and Pawcatuck are all served.
